Warehouse Operative – Chelmsford Pay Rate: £12.71ph Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am –17:00pm Contract: Temporary to Permanent Location: Chelmsford Transport: Own transport required Parking: Free parking on site We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established supplier in Chelmsford, who are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy team. This is a long-term temp to perm opportunity for someone who is comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment. Warehouse Operative Duties: Picking and preparing orders Loading and unloading deliveries Moving stock around the warehouse Checking and storing incoming goods Packing products ready for dispatch Loading vehicles for deliveries Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised Manual handling and heavy lifting as required Following health and safety procedures Assisting with general warehouse duties as required Requirements: Previous warehouse experience preferred Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting Good understanding of workplace health and safety Reliable and hardworking Able to work well as part of a team Good attention to detail Flexible and willing to help with different warehouse duties This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period
