As a Relief Support Practitioner, you will play an important role in maintaining stability for children and young people by providing cover across shifts when required. You will need to be ready to step in, adapt quickly and deliver consistent care, even when working with different teams or young people. What your day could look like Supporting children and young people in a residential setting Maintaining routines and providing structure Responding to emotional and behavioural needs Working alongside colleagues to deliver consistent care Completing records and contributing to care plans About you You will have experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable individuals and be confident working in a flexible role where no two shifts are the same. You will be organised, dependable and able to adapt to different environments while maintaining a consistent approach. You will be comfortable working with a range of behaviours and able to quickly build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 and must hold a full manual driving licence.
