I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Hire Litigator / Fee Earner to join a well-established litigation team in Liverpool. The role will see you take ownership of a varied caseload of litigated Credit Hire matters, including fast-track, multi-track and liability-disputed claims, managing cases from the commencement of proceedings through to settlement or trial. Key responsibilities include: Managing a full caseload of litigated Credit Hire claims Handling fast-track, multi-track and liability-disputed matters Progressing cases from issue of proceedings through to trial Complying with court directions, orders and procedural deadlines Negotiating settlements and securing the best possible outcomes for clients Maintaining regular communication with Credit Hire providers Building strong relationships with hire companies and other key stakeholders Working closely with colleagues across the wider litigation team Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records About you: Previous experience handling Credit Hire claims is essential Strong experience managing litigated RTA matters through to resolution Good understanding of Credit Hire case law and litigation procedure Knowledge of the MOJ Protocols, Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules Understanding of personal injury claims and associated costs Comfortable working towards KPIs including billing, settlement rates and case duration Strong organisation and caseload management skills Confident working independently while also contributing to a wider team Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience using Proclaim would be advantageous but is not essential Benefits: Generous salary package Attractive bonus scheme Hybrid working Overtime opportunities with additional pay Supportive and established litigation team Opportunities for career development and progression
