Full job description (from employer)⌄

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering – Leicester – £70k + Package Looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyors role where you can actually take ownership of your projects without disappearing into a huge corporate structure? I’m working with an established civil engineering contractor in Leicester who can offer exactly that, alongside a strong pipeline of local work across the Midlands. They deliver an interesting mix of highways and infrastructure schemes including public realm, road widening, junction improvements, earthworks, drainage, S278 works and bridge projects. Their clients range from Local Authorities through to private developers, retailers and housebuilders, so there’s plenty of variety rather than being tied to one framework or type of project. You’ll take commercial responsibility for your own schemes, working alongside experienced operational teams and managing everything from subcontract procurement and NEC contract administration through to valuations, change, cost reporting and final accounts. They’re looking for someone with a solid civil engineering background who is comfortable running projects commercially and wants the freedom to get on with the job. The business itself has been established for more than 50 years and has built an excellent reputation and a loyal client base along the way. They’ve grown without losing the feel of a business where people know one another, good work gets noticed and there are opportunities to progress. With a healthy workload ahead, they can offer stability alongside a competitive salary and package, performance-related bonus and flexible working. For further information about the company, their current projects and what the role could offer longer term, please contact MBS Recruitment Solutions ASAP
