Project Manager - Joinery/Fit-out

Project Manager Mansfield - Permanent | Up to £65,000 + Package Hybrid Working Available A specialist fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering exceptional projects across a variety of commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a passionate and driven Project Manager to join their team based in Mansfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality projects and enjoys working within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Role As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You'll be working on a range of high-end fit-out and refurbishment schemes across sectors including: Commercial offices Restaurants and hospitality Retail Museums and visitor attractions Leisure and specialist commercial environments Whilst hybrid working is available, there is an expectation to be present in the office regularly to collaborate with the wider team and support project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from start to finish Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Monitor programmes, costs and project performance Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with quality expectations Identify and mitigate project risks Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates Support successful project handovers and client satisfaction About You We are particularly interested in speaking with Project Managers from a bespoke joinery, shopfitting or high-end fit-out background who have a strong understanding of the manufacturing and installation process. Knowledge of CAD and the ability to interpret technical drawings would be highly advantageous. Ideal experience includes: Proven experience as a Project Manager within fit-out, bespoke joinery, shopfitting or interior fit-out environments A strong joinery background, with a good understanding of bespoke manufacture, joinery detailing and installation processes Experience delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects Strong client-facing and communication skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, subcontractors and project teams Commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset CAD knowledge or the ability to interpret technical drawings would be highly beneficial A driven and ambitious approach to project delivery Experience within high-end fit-out, bespoke joinery, shopfitting or refurbishment projects across commercial, retail, hospitality, museum or leisure sectors would be highly advantageous. Candidates who have worked closely with design teams and possess an understanding of CAD drawings and technical detailing will be particularly well suited to the role. What's on Offer?
