This job is specifically for people who have convictions Labourer Location: Cobalt Business Park, North Tyneside Job Type: Full-time Salary: £16.00 per hour (46 hours per week, with potential overtime) Introduction Our client, a construction company, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join their team on a project at Cobalt Business Park. The project involves an office refurbishment, with work taking place within a commercial building. The successful Labourer will support the site team with general construction duties and help ensure the project runs smoothly. Objectives As an important member of the site team, the Labourer will support tradespeople and assist with the day-to-day running of the refurbishment project. You will help maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment while ensuring materials and work areas are organised. Key Responsibilities As a Labourer, your duties include: Keeping the site clean and tidy, including sweeping and clearing work areas Fetching and carrying materials for tradespeople Assisting with general labouring duties during the office refurbishment Moving and organising materials around the site Supporting the site team with tasks as required Following site health and safety procedures at all times Maintaining a safe and organised working environment Requirements - What We're Looking For The ideal labouring candidate will have: A valid CSCS card Safety boots and suitable workwear High-visibility clothing and any additional PPE required for the site Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual labour A reliable and punctual approach to work The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team A positive attitude and willingness to carry out a variety of site duties Working Hours 46 hours per week 7:30am starts Monday to Friday, with exact finish times to be confirmed Potential for additional overtime Benefits £16.00 per hour 46 hours of work per week Potential to earn additional money through overtime Opportunity to gain experience on a commercial refurbishment project Work available until April If you are reliable, hardworking and ready to work, we would like to hear from you.
