Full job description (from employer)⌄

Role: Client Development and Lead Generation Executive Location: Nottingham Working Arrangement: Primarily office-based, 4–5 days per week, with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week. Salary: £28-30K Basic + £10-15K commission Are you someone who enjoys building relationships, finding new business opportunities and getting people interested in what you're selling? We're looking for a Client Development and Lead Generation Executive to join an established technology company specialising in digital learning solutions, including new AI-powered products. This isn't a role where you'll just be making endless cold calls. You'll be working with existing clients as well as identifying new contacts and opportunities, building relationships and starting conversations that could lead to new business. You'll use a mix of phone calls, digital outreach, networking and referrals to connect with potential customers, understand their needs and introduce solutions that could genuinely benefit their business. You'll also spend time researching companies, identifying decision-makers and keeping track of your conversations and opportunities through the CRM system. A big part of the role will be knowing how to approach different people. You'll need to be comfortable picking up the phone, writing personalised messages and finding ways to get conversations started without relying on the same sales pitch every time. You'll ideally have around 3 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably within technology, software or digital solutions. You'll need to understand how to build relationships with clients, identify commercial opportunities and keep a healthy pipeline of prospects. Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and AI tools for research, prospecting and writing would be particularly useful. You'll also need to be comfortable learning about new technology and explaining its benefits to people who might not have a technical background. A degree-level education is required, alongside strong communication, organisation and writing skills. You'll be joining a business with an established international customer base and the opportunity to work with both existing digital learning solutions and newer AI products. If you enjoy the relationship-building side of sales, have an interest in technology and want to be part of a business developing new digital and AI solutions, please apply now or get in touch to find out more. We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background. All applicants are screened by an experienced, human recruiter – not AI
