Location: Nottingham Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Type: Permanent, full-time The opportunity A fast-growing M&E and low carbon consultancy is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join its Nottingham head office. You’ll design electrical systems across a varied project mix and help shape low carbon solutions, working alongside the directors who founded the business. What you’ll do Design electrical services: LV distribution, small power, general and emergency lighting, fire alarm, access control and containment Carry out cable sizing, voltage drop and protection calculations Produce lighting designs and calculations Contribute electrical design to low carbon projects, including PV, battery storage and EV charging Prepare drawings, schematics and specifications Coordinate with mechanical and design teams in BIM, and support site visits, testing and commissioning What you’ll need Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering Building services electrical design experience, ideally in a consultancy Good knowledge of BS 7671, BS 5839 and BS 5266 Amtech, DIALux/Relux and AutoCAD; Revit MEP an advantage Strong attention to detail and good communication skills What’s on offer Competitive salary based on experience Pension, holiday, bonus Close support from experienced directors Support towards IEng/CEng Clear progression in a growing consultancy To apply, send your CV
