Location: Nottingham, NG5 Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 6:00pm Job type: Part-time Recruitment agency: Recruiting on behalf of a local school We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to work at a school in the Nottingham NG5 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment and enjoys being part of a team supporting the day-to-day running of a school. Key responsibilities: Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure and well maintained. Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs where required. Opening and closing the school premises as needed. Ensuring classrooms, corridors and communal areas are tidy and presentable. Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns. Supporting the school with general caretaking duties as required. The ideal candidate will: Be reliable, punctual and hardworking. Have a practical, hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving. Be able to work independently and use their initiative. Have good attention to detail and a positive attitude. Ideally have previous caretaking, maintenance or facilities experience. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–6:00pm As this role is based within a school, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the relevant pre-employment and safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check, as applicable.
