Turner Lovell is partnering with a rapidly growing power and infrastructure business to recruit an Electrical Project Manager to support its expanding HV division. With the business expected to double in size over the next 12-18 months, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company at a pivotal stage of its growth, where you can make a genuine impact, take ownership of key projects and progress your career as the business continues to expand. Working across high-value HV infrastructure projects for DNOs, IDNOs, data centres and major industrial clients, you'll join a team delivering critical power infrastructure across the UK. This is a role for someone who wants more than just another project to manage. It's an opportunity to join a business going places, with the scope to grow alongside it. The Opportunity As Electrical Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the interface between design and delivery across HV infrastructure projects, typically ranging from 11kV to 132kV+. You'll coordinate design development and approvals, manage technical stakeholders, support procurement planning and ensure projects are positioned for successful delivery. Working closely with internal delivery teams, design consultants, DNOs, IDNOs and client-side engineers, you'll play a key role in keeping live projects moving, resolving technical challenges and managing programme and delivery risk. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position where strong coordination, commercial awareness and the ability to make things happen are essential. What You'll Be Doing Managing the design process from initial development through to technical approval. Coordinating design consultants, internal delivery teams, DNOs, IDNOs and client-side stakeholders. Tracking technical submissions, RFIs, design approvals and outstanding actions. Identifying and resolving design, programme and interface risks before they impact delivery. Supporting procurement planning and ensuring key technical requirements are understood early. Building strong relationships with clients, network operators and project stakeholders. Maintaining compliance with relevant electrical standards, specifications, legislation and safety requirements. Supporting the successful delivery of complex HV infrastructure projects across the UK. What We're Looking For You'll have experience delivering HV electrical infrastructure projects and be comfortable working in a live project environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving progress. Essential experience: Proven experience delivering HV electrical infrastructure projects at 11kV-132kV+. A strong understanding of DNO and/or IDNO design approval processes. Experience coordinating design, procurement and project delivery interfaces. A background in power, utilities or electrical infrastructure. The ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues and keep projects moving. Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills. Commercial awareness, particularly around programme, procurement and delivery risk. An electrical engineering qualification (degree, HNC or equivalent) would be advantageous, alongside experience with ICPs, DNOs, Tier 1 contractors or major data centre and industrial connections. We're particularly interested in people who have progressed from design engineering into project delivery, or experienced engineers and project managers looking for greater responsibility and a stronger long-term career opportunity.
