Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Top Marks Education is recruiting two Primary Teachers to join a welcoming SEMH school in Cambridge. The school supports children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and while pupils can at times present challenging behaviour, this is a positive and happy working environment with a team that is committed to providing consistency, structure and the right support for its young people. The roles will initially be on a supply/temporary basis, but the school is keen to find teachers who want to settle into the provision for the long term. For the right candidates, there is a strong possibility of the positions becoming permanent. We would particularly like to hear from teachers who: Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have a good understanding of the Primary or EYFS curriculum Have previous experience within SEMH, SEND, Alternative Provision or a similar setting, although this is not essential Are confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent way Understand the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with pupils Are looking for stability and the opportunity to become part of a school community These roles would suit teachers who understand that consistency can make an enormous difference to children with SEMH needs. The school is not looking for short-term cover. They want to find the right people who can build relationships with the pupils and potentially become permanent members of the team. Location: Cambridge Positions available: 2 Contract: Full-time, initially temporary/supply with strong potential to become permanent Start: ASAP / by agreement If you're an experienced Primary or EYFS teacher looking for something a little different, or you already have experience within SEMH and are looking for a school where you can make a genuine long-term impact, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today or contact Top Marks Education for a confidential conversation about the roles. Work Location: In person
