Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a commercial construction project in Yeovil, with a contract running until Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and experience delivering commercial build projects. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors. Monitor progress against the construction programme and deadlines. Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications and quality requirements. Maintain high standards of health, safety and site organisation. Conduct site inspections and ensure defects are addressed promptly. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and site logistics. Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are followed. Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers and wider delivery team. Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates. Drive productivity and ensure the project remains on programme. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects. Main contractor experience. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid – essential. Strong knowledge of construction health and safety. Excellent subcontractor management and organisational skills.
